The witches from Macbeth.

Finish reading ACT I, Scene iii of Macbeth.  This scene is on the handout I gave to you in class.  Look for the predictions made by the witches.  Think:  How do the witch's predictions affect Macbeth and Banquo?  Reading the notes at the end of the passage will help you understand the scene.

Write a 1/2 page paragraph:  If someone predicted something great would happen in your life, and you wanted this something to come true, do you think it would change your behavior?  Within your paragraph, discuss the prediction (so, something you wish for) and the ramifications the prediction would have for you and your actions.  In other words, will you try to "make" the thing happen?  OR, will you let circumstances come as they may.
